Equipment Repair
Diagnosis and repair across the whole kitchen, from a fryer that will not hold temperature to an ice machine producing hollow cubes.
Miami, Florida
Equipment repair, facility fixes and full remodels for South Florida restaurants. When a walk in warms up we are there the same day, and when the dining room needs rebuilding we draw it, permit it and build it.
Who We Are
Restaurant Repairs Inc works out of 12751 SW 9 St in Miami, serving restaurants, bars, hotels, schools and food trucks across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach. We do the two things restaurant operators usually have to juggle between five different vendors: keep the equipment running, and rebuild the space when it is time.
On the service side we repair refrigeration, cooking equipment, warewashing and prep equipment, and we handle the facility problems that are not equipment at all: a failing door, a leaking sink base, damaged FRP wall panels, broken tile, a cracked floor. On the construction side we handle remodels, kitchen reconfigurations, bar builds, dining room refreshes and full build outs.
What We Do
One company for the whole restaurant, so you are not calling a refrigeration tech, a handyman and a contractor in the same week.
Diagnosis and repair across the whole kitchen, from a fryer that will not hold temperature to an ice machine producing hollow cubes.
Walk ins, reach ins, prep tables, ice machines and display cases. Leak detection, compressor work and temperature troubleshooting.
Ranges, ovens, fryers, griddles, char broilers, steamers and combi ovens. Gas, electric and controls work.
Kitchen reconfigurations, bar builds, dining room refreshes and full build outs, drawn, permitted and built by our own crews.
Scheduled service plans that catch failures before service does. Cleaning, calibration, gasket checks and coil work.
The things that are not equipment: FRP panels, damaged tile, doors, hardware, shelving, sink bases, ceilings and general repairs.

How It Works
Give us the equipment make, model and symptom, or tell us about the space you want rebuilt. We often narrow a repair before the truck rolls.
We confirm a window that works around your service times, because nobody wants a technician on a hot line at 7 PM.
The technician diagnoses the actual fault and gives you a written estimate. Remodels get a measured walkthrough and a line item proposal.
We repair or build, run the equipment, verify temperatures and operation, and leave the area clean with the work documented.
Service Areas
Scheduled routes across three counties. If your city is not listed, call anyway, since we are often nearby.
Questions
Most calls placed during business hours are scheduled same day or next business day, depending on your location and technician availability. Maintenance plan customers get priority scheduling ahead of one time calls.
There is a $145 diagnostic service call covering travel and the first hour on site. If you approve the repair, that amount is credited toward it, so you are not paying twice for the same hour.
Yes, and we do it often. When the repair cost approaches replacement value on a unit near the end of its life, we will say so plainly and give you the numbers to make the call yourself.
Often yes. We phase work around service periods, wall off active areas and schedule the disruptive stages overnight or during closures where the scope allows it. We will tell you honestly when a full closure is the faster and cheaper route.
For remodel and build out work that requires them, yes. We prepare applications, coordinate the licensed trades and engineering required, and schedule inspections as part of the contract.
Yes. Repair labor carries a 90 day warranty, construction workmanship is warrantied for one year, and parts and materials carry their manufacturer warranties. See our warranty page.
Tell us the make, model and symptom and we will give you a service window and an honest read on what it is likely to take.
