Warranty
What our labor, parts and construction warranties cover, what they do not, and how to make a claim.
Last updated: September 19, 2026
1. Labor Warranty On Repairs
We warrant our repair labor for 90 days from the date of service. If the same fault on the same component returns within that period, we return and correct it at no labor charge. This covers the specific repair performed, not unrelated faults that develop afterward on the same unit.
2. Parts Warranty
Parts carry the warranty provided by their manufacturer, typically 90 days to one year depending on the component and brand. Those warranties are passed through to you. Where a manufacturer honors a warranty part, the part is replaced at no charge, but labor to install the replacement is chargeable unless it falls within our 90 day labor warranty period.
3. Construction Workmanship Warranty
Remodel and build out work carries a one year workmanship warranty from the date of substantial completion, unless a longer period is stated in your contract. Equipment, fixtures and materials installed carry their own manufacturer warranties, which we document and hand over at closeout.
4. What Is Not Covered
- Faults on a different component than the one repaired
- Damage from misuse, abuse, overloading or operating a unit with a known fault
- Failures caused by lack of routine cleaning by kitchen staff, including dirty condensers, clogged filters and grease buildup
- Damage from power surges, brownouts, water supply problems, scale or poor water quality
- Damage from flooding, storms, hurricanes, lightning or pests
- Adjustments, repairs or modifications performed by others after our service
- Normal wear items such as gaskets, filters, belts, light bulbs and knobs
- Equipment at the end of its serviceable life where we advised replacement
- Food loss, spoilage, lost revenue or business interruption of any kind
- Cosmetic wear on construction work, and normal settling or hairline cracking
5. Conditions
- The account must be paid in full for warranty coverage to apply.
- Equipment must have been operated and cleaned in line with manufacturer instructions.
- Warranty coverage applies at the original installation address.
- Coverage is extended to the original customer and is not transferable unless agreed in writing.
6. Preventing Warranty Problems
Most repeat failures we see are preventable. Clean condenser coils monthly, keep door gaskets clean and undamaged, do not hose down equipment that is not rated for it, replace water filters on schedule, and train staff not to run a unit that is already failing. Our maintenance plans handle the technical side of this on a schedule.
